I wore contacts through my entire time in China (Taiyuan China Care baby) when we went to adopt my little sister in May 2007, and I never had a problem with them, never even took them out. I think as long as you flush your eyes with saline in the morning and evenings and take them out at least one night a week, you'll be fine.
